Roger Good - Worship Leader

Roger Good

I was born in Kentucky on July 29, 1951. My family moved to Michigan, then Florida and finally settled down in Tennessee. There I met the love of my life, Kathy. We were married March 3rd, 1973, after I returned from serving two years in the Army. On March 5th we moved to Virginia. We have two sons, Jason and Kevin. Some of my hobbies are motorcycle riding, fishing and golf. I also enjoy playing the guitar and singing.

I was saved at an early age, but in my teens lost interest in attending church. In 1990 during a revival at Heritage I rededicated my life to the Lord. I have found renewed love for the Lord that grows stronger every day. At Heritage I have experienced the joy that worship and fellowship with a church family can bring.

Presently, I am the song leader and a member of the trustee board. My heartfelt desire is to serve Him.

Where should I serve?

Prayer is vital. As you seek the Lord’s direction, he will give you wisdom to know where he wants you to fellowship. So, be sure to make prayer a priority each step along the way. If you’re not sure why it's important to find a church, check out what the Bible says about church attendance.

What are my beliefs?

It’s important to understand the doctrinal beliefs of any church before joining. Before joining be sure the church effectively teaches the Bible. At Heritage, we believe that every Scripture passage is inspired by God. Read more about our beliefs at "About Us - What We Believe."

What ministries are offered?

You want your church to be a place where you can connect with other believers. At Heritage, you will find a variety of ministries and programs for service, fellowship, and growth. Feel free to browse the "Ministries" section of our web site.
